A chalkboard was recently erected in New York City with the words “Write Your Biggest Regret” written across the top.
When those who came before us pass, and say their dying regrets, it isn’t usually about wishing they owned that million dollar home, or wishing they had more material possessions. Their regrets are a little deeper than that. Most are about wishing they had pursued their dreams, told the person they loved that they loved them, cherished the moments they had with others more. This chalkboard stood for one full day and was written on by many people, all from separate walks of life. Surprisingly, you’ll see they all have similar regrets, and one nobody wants to admit.
Accept everything about yourself – I mean everything. You are you and that is the beginning and the end – no apologies, no regrets.
What’s YOUR biggest regret?
